Brass bands and techno music don’t often come together, but when they do, the results can be incredible.
Case in point is MEUTE, a marching band that’s become famous for its infectious covers of classic techno tracks, such as Laurent Garnier’s “The Man With The Red Face” and Âme’s “Rej”.
We’re enormous fans of MEUTE, which is why you can often find them performing at TEB festivals and events in Germany and beyond (they played our City Festival in Warsaw last year). We sat down with band co-founder Thomas Burhorn for the latest episode of our German-language podcast series.
You can listen to it on Mixcloud, SoundCloud, Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
