Moog Has A New DIY Drum Machine, And You Don’t
Only 100 lucky Moogfest attendees will get one of these!
Drummer From Another Mother is an ultra-limited drum module that is only available to attendees of this year’s Moogfest engineering workshop. Part of the annual Moogfest gathering, the workshop is hosted by Moog engineers to introduce the basics of analog synthesis and instrument building. Last year attendees got to build Brother From Another Mother, an analog synth and sequencer.
If you want one of these drum machines, you’ll need to sign up for the course (a whopping $1500) and fly to Durham, North Carolina. That said, having the chance to build your own Moog to treasure forever (or sell on Gearogs) probably makes it worthwhile. No experience required. You can find more information here.
