Nicolas Jaar has enlisted Holly Herndon, William Basinski, Lorenzo Senni, Powell, Julia Holter and more to contribute to a sound art project on his Other People imprint. “Other People’s Imaginary Feast” makes use of a Kickstarter-funded new technology called Sensory Percussion: a sensor that attaches to the side of a drum and allows players to control an array of responsive sounds. Watch a preview on the embedded player, or stream “Imaginary Feast” in full here.
