When it comes to producing weightless, otherworldy beats and atmospheres, Ludwig A.F. Röhrscheid is wise beyond his years.
The Frankfurt-based producer, who is only a few EPs into his nascent career, weaves bits of liquid drum n’ bass and ’90s rave into his warm, psychedelic house grooves. The effect is dense, like his breakout hit, “Velocity”, which now has near-classic status in the underground.
As his music moves even deeper into dreamy soundscapes and spaced-out vibes, we plugged the producer to take us through the inspirations and processes that lead him to create such unique sounds. And for our newest episode of One To Watch, he shows us how a playful, “anything goes” approach to music can help you find those diamonds in the rough.
