See How 1980s Manchester Ravers Cut Shapes
It’s not exactly The Hacienda, but Moss Side Community Centre hosted some fancy footworkers in 1986.
We’re always suckers for vintage club footage, no matter how obscure. This gem pre-dates the U.K.’s “Summer Of Love” house raves by a couple years, but you can already see the type of stylized foot-shuffling that would soon become the rave standard. There’s a nice synchronised dance routine by the Foot Patrol crew while DJ Mike Shaft bashes out future classics like Adonis’ “No Way Back”.
