So it may seem slightly out of character—though smart from a marketing perspective—that they’ve created an app to cut out the DJ. The app seamlessly beatmatches from one track to the next within a playlist. For now, it’s mainly geared toward house parties, but does it detract from the value of a handmade, quality mix?
