The cities of Murmansk, Lviv and Kazan will play host to Unsound’s Dislocation festival series.
Unsound Festival has revealed more details about its plan to expand its Dislocation event series to Russia and Ukraine.
Following previous successful events in Belarus and Kazakhstan, the Krakow-based festival will host three more satellite festivals in Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia in late August and early September. Grouper’s new musical project NIVHEK, Robert Henke, Laurel Halo (pictured above) and Aïsha Devi are among the major names participating in the events, which kick off on August 25 in the port city of Mamansk. Dislocation then moves on to Lviv, Ukraine with the Zenker Brothers headlining a club night as part of the event. Finally, a former airplane hanger in Kazan will play host to an Unsound mini-festival with Lotic and Don’t DJ throwing down. You can find all the details and lineups at the Unsound website here.
