Oramics has quickly become one of our favorite podcast series since we first heard about it last year. After all, the platform created to empower women, non-binary and queer people in electronic music has given us mixes from some of our favorite artists right now like Ciarra Black and Borusiade.

Now you can add another awesome mix to that collection courtesy of Violet. The Portuguese producer is a one-woman musical tour-de-force. Not only the producer of a series of essential records on Love on the Rocks and One Eyed Jacks over the last couple of years, she also runs the wonderful Naive label and is the founder of Rádio Quântica and the queer rave collective mina.

That’s all to go with her skills as a DJ which, as her new Oramics mix proves, are substantial. Choosing to keep things deep and psychedelic, Violet’s ambient selections make for some seriously chill listening. Effortlessly moving through new age synth passages and kosmische into humid dub and laid-back breaks, it shows both the depth and breadth of Violet’s taste.
