Have you ever found yourself clicking “refresh” over and over on a package tracking page? Waiting for your stuff to arrive can be incredibly boring and sometimes even frustrating. Forunately, FedEx just recently came up with a new interactive website that turns the whole long process into a musical experience.
FedEx SoundTrack uses your tracking number to create a piece of music based on the size of your parcel, weather conditions and shipping method. These parameters are then fed into an algorithm that generates sounds with a little bit of local flair: expect to hear shades of dance music if shipped from California or a bit of guitar twang if shipped from Memphis.
