Let’s go back in time. In 1989 house and techno were all the rage, new and exciting. Here’s an old feature of the Canadian TV show Soul In The City featuring the late Frankie Knuckles, Byron Stingly of garage house super group Ten City, Todd Terry, Royal House, Ce Ce Rogers and more, who explain the roots and the appeal of this new dance craze and its various sub-genres from acid house to techno and from deep house to hip house.
