A perfect performance of “plastic soul”.

A couple of months back we brought you some absolutely astounding footage of David Bowie performing “Station to Station” in Paris in 1976. It was a timely reminder of just how boundary pushing and vital the enigmatic British musician was. Here, we have another incredible blast from the past with Bowie nailing the R&B, funk, pop and rock crossover hit “Fame” on Soul Train back in 1975. The combination of Soul Train and Bowie is all too much really, and it doesn’t disappoint.
