After ages of teasing and some tantalizingly weird cover art, we finally get a first glimpse of Grimes‘ fourth album Art Angels—due for release November 6th— in the form of a double video for tracks “Flesh Without Blood” and “Life In The Vivid Dream.” It’s certainly the poppiest we’ve ever seen her, but even at her most approachable, Grimes still betrays a mutant sensibility. Avenging angel or Baroque bloodsucker, whatever guise Claire Boucher is adopting, we’re damn glad to hear from her again.
