These days, you can’t read any technology blog or watch any presentation without being confronted with the latest virtual reality innovation. But 20 years ago, music videos were already being developed for VR’s first attempt. Though the technology wasn’t ready yet, the shattered worlds being created were perfectly surreal and quite a pleasure to explore in retrospect. Take a trip through visions of futures past courtesy of Fakespace, an early VR music video development studio that tried to champion the technology way before today’s Oculus hype.
