Regensburg’s district cultural officer Klemens Unger bans all beats from local festival.
This small south German town’s crusade against electronic music is more than cringeworthy. They banned the Einmusik label from playing at their local festival because they don’t play live music. Klemens Unger, the town’s cultural officer, effectively banned all “music that is presented in public, but is not handmade” from being played at the festival. D’oh. There is already a petition in place to unban electronic music again—sign it here.
