Inside Carpet & Snares HQ in Lisbon, Vinyl Distribution, Recordstore, and More!

In this new Electronic Beats feature we visit the multidisciplinary Carpet & Snares out of Portugal, launched in 2014 and managed by Jorge Caiado. The company operates as a record store in Lisbon as well as an online store and a DJ and music production studio. It also handles vinyl distribution and publishing for selected imprints in the global underground. On top of this, there’s numerous in house record labels built into the outfit and an event series which has seen Carpet and Snares welcome the likes of Marina Trench, Garrett David, Katie Drover and the Dutch Slapfunk crew to play at various party spaces throughout Libson and beyond.
